Omolara!

The first time I heard Omolara sing, I was frustrated. Frustrated by the fact that  someone with a voice as lovely as hers didn't have an album of her own. I immediately wished I could share her music with everyone I came across. by this time, I was poor, broke, homeless and without a studio of my own! so how did I get out of that state? well, that's magana for another day. But Lara is a sensation to remind you of when music was music. her simple but conscious lyrics, clear soothing voice and amazing person will leave even the pharaoh soft. tell me what you think.

Cobhams Asuquo's message to his friends on Facebook

Friends and family, thanks for the lovely, lovely, lovely feed back. it only makes me want to know everyone on a personal level even more. But I suppose that is what this is all about right? so, fabulous weekend for everyone I hope? well, mine was! I wrote a test on Saturday. Haven't written one in years. I was afraid I was beginning to grow dull; but I wasn't too disappointed with my score. I had a rather disturbing personal issue to deal with, but thank God that's all solved now. I know some of you would like to know what it was. well, that's the desired result! to get you to want to know. I'll decide whether to share afterall, we're family. right? i'm working on a joint presently and i'd like to share it with y'all as soon as it's ready. like I promised, you will be the  first to know.

well, chat with y'all soon, have an artiste in the studio! someone y'all would like to meet. hopefully soon, I'll do you a video instead of text. gotta run. holler at your boy! I always love hearing from you. love you deeply. God bless y'all.

me.
